Hola! (I've been saying that a lot lately and I'm not sure why...)
Anyway... So I don't really have anything important to blog about, but I figured I would update everyone on my new job! I actually really love it! It's something completely different than any job I have ever had, and I get to deal with a lot of different people with various issues and coming from different parts of the country (or even Canada or Puerto Rico!). So I think that's really neat. The last person that I spoke with tonight on the phone was a man from Canada, but he was Pollish (sp?). He was so nice to talk to and we got a few good laughs in there, and I learned that there are a lot of his race residing there, when I had initially thought Canada was just a bunch of French people! (haha and other races too, but you know stereotypes...) So he was a really neat person and it was really fun being able to talk to him. Then every once in a while you get to speak to angry customers who just yell at you, and I get really nervous, and I've actually almost cried once, but I didn't have time because I had a call right after, so I had to perk up right away haha. But I think I have already learned so much from working at APX. I have learned how to be a more understanding person, not to jump to conclusions, and how to stay calm when I would normally be freaked out. It's interesting, because I've noticed that since I have to practice these skills at work, I've been applying them in my daily life without even thinking about it. A couple people have even noticed it, and it actually makes me really excited. So I really wonder if maybe I hadn't been able to find a job for so long, because I needed to work here so that I could develop those skills. I feel really blessed to have this job and I'm really excited to see where it takes me! :)

PS - I read this great quote today and I think everyone should live by this! :D
"People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered.
Love them anyway.

If you do good, people may accuse you of selfish motives.
Do good anyway.

If you are successful, you may win false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway.

The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable.
Be honest and transparent anyway.

What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway.

People who really want help may attack you if you help them.
Help them anyway.

Give the world the best you have and you may get hurt.
Give the world your best anyway."

-Mother Teresa
