I need an adventure.

Well, I guess my life is pretty boring. All I ever really do is work, eat, and sleep. Even my weekends are beginning to run dry. I NEED EXCITEMENT. Seriously. I'm dying. Why can't my life be a movie sometimes? As long as I'm the hero, I'll usually come out alive, right? And can I PLEASE go back to last summer? That was possibly the best summer of my life, and I miss it a lot. I'm still friends with most of those people I saw every day, but everyone has such busy lives now, so it gets pretty rare when we get to reconnect. Sigh. I need an adventure... Maybe it's time to start creating my own, instead of sitting here and waiting for something to happen. I'll let you know after this weekend :)

Anyway! There have been two events that I would deem blog-worthy since my last post (California was amazing by the way... I miss it already).
First, there was a wedding. James' niece (somehow... I still get everyone mixed up! I'm doing my best though) got married! She is beautiful and had such a BEAUTIFUL wedding. It was great. Congratulations to the newly weds!

Next, being the amazing girlfriend that I am (and oh-so-humble too), I threw James his very own surprise birthday party! Well, it wasn't just me... Ryan Lindsley (along with Michelle) and Jason Hermansen helped a TON. I couldn't have done it with out them!
It was awesome. We all got James a Batman costume, and each then dressed up as various characters from Batman. Can you tell that James loves Batman? Maybe just a little bit ;)
It was really nice to have all of our friends there, especially since it's so rare to see them, let alone to have them there all together! James loved it, and it was definitely a success.

Since then, I've really just been working. I need a life. Someone throw me a (good) curveball! Thanks!
Kay, bye!

  1. Me and Laurel were just saying we need to do something off the list this memorial day weekend! That's so weird. You're wanting excitement and here we are. Haha. I'll text you. Let's hang out.
