Life, for now.

It's kind of been a while since my last post. My apologies, although I'm not sure how many people actually read my blog. That's okay though. It's mostly for me, anyway ;)
Well... My wonderful family came to visit me last week. And by that, I mean my parents and my younger brother. I missed them a lot! It was so good to spend some time with them, even if it was less than two days. Absence makes the heart grow fonder? I suppose. It still sucks though. haha. Anyway... So my parents helped me move. Not very far, might I add. I'm on the other side of the building I was already in. But it was very nice of them, because otherwise I would've had to do it all by myself (James was sick all weekend... Literally, I don't think he left his bed once... Poor guy). After that, my parents and I had a fun-filled weekend! I took them to meet James' mom for the first time.

We then ate at Los Hermanos, went to visit one of my dad's brothers and his family, and then went to eat dinner with another of my dad's brother and some other family. Funny story: Someone who is somehow related to me, yet whom I have no recollection of, ever, came up to me and said, "You have been in Utah this whole time and you haven't come to see me once!?". Yeah, what do you say to that? Haha, she was great though.

The next day I went up to visit with my parents and my dad's brother's family again. We had fun just being together and playing games. However, my parents then took off to New York - WITH OUT ME. How dare they. haha Just kidding... But seriously ;)

This last weekend was a lot of fun too! I have a new friend. Her name is Staycee :) I work with her, and her and her husband invited James and I over for dinner on Friday. They made us ribs. RIBS. They pretty much rocked. And so do Staycee and her family. Her little boy is adorable, PS. We then went to Sonic and had their amazing drinks. I have a new found love called the Campfire Blast. It's a shake from Sonic that tastes like smores. Go try one, right now. You will fall in love and never look back. Amazing.

Saturday was spent in Park City with our great friends Ryan and Michelle! I love them. We always have fun with them. It was so nice to see them!

We first went on the Alpine Slide. It would've been really fun if it wasn't for this HUGE jerk! I was going down the slide not as fast as I could've, but I really wasn't going THAT slow. So, this guy with his 5 year old daughter catch up to me. He proceeded to yell at me THE WHOLE WAY DOWN. We got to the bottom and he threw some other rude comments at me... "You got caught up with by a FIVE YEAR OLD!" "It was fun... Until I caught up to THAT girl". I cried. Seriously, I feel dumb about crying, but I was feeling emotional and he was a really big jerk. I should've said something to him. I don't know why I didn't... Anyway, I'm glad everyone else had fun on that slide. haha.
Then we went around Park City and looked at some of the shops. Michelle and I went into this cute little boutique and found a pair of shorts for only $125. HA! I can't justify buying shorts for more than like... $25. Maybe. I like bargains. So we proceeded to the outlet stores, which weren't much of "outlets", but they were still much cheaper. We also ate at Ruby Tuesday. Yay for coupons! And friends!

So that's my life for now. The rest of my week is spent working, working out, and tanning every so often, even if you can't tell. :) Kay, bye!
