My amazing weekend!! :D

This weekend was amazing. It was seriously the best weekend that I've had in a while.

It started out with James and I heading up to Logan on Friday evening. We stopped in Salt Lake City to attend a beautiful wedding reception for an old friend from his mission. He was able to see a couple other people he knew from his mission as well, which was great! They are so fun and hopefully we'll be able to see more of them. I know James loved it.

Then we finished our drive up to Logan, where James ended up passing out right away. He was so tired. He works so hard during the day and has to wake up so early, poor thing. But Ryan, Michelle and I were able to stay entertained! Ryan decided he wanted cookies, so he made some delicious cookie all by himself! They were so great! Michelle and I decided to play salon. I brought up some new hair dye with me, and she dyed my hair. She did a fantastic job! No patches or blotchy spots! Hooray! She also decided to paint my nails, which turned out really cool as well! Ryan then decided that he couldn't stay awake any longer, so he went off to bed while Michelle and I stayed up and watched Glee while she styled my hair. That show is awesome! It seriously reminds me of high school, especially since I was a theater kid. Good times. We couldn't stop laughing, especially during a part where this guy said "Who is Josh Groban!? Kill yourself!" hahaha I love it. And my hair turned out absolutely lovely! Thank you, Michelle :D

The next day, we were able to see Toy Story 3 for FREE via Ryan's work. IT WAS INCREDIBLE. You see, I was excited for it, but not as hyped up as everyone else seemed to be. My thoughts were that, of course Toy Story is a classic movie, but I was thinking this movie just wouldn't live up to the original, but boy was I wrong. It surpassed all of my expectations and more. It was awesome. I highly recommend it to everyone. Kids of all ages. Seriously... Go see it. Now. :)

After that, we went to Summerfest in Logan. The weather was beautiful! Nice and sunny, and not too hot. We walked around and saw all of the creative people of Logan. There were many different forms of art, jewelry, and more. And not to mention the food! Of course I had to have a snow cone, and also cotton candy! You see, this weekend marks the one-year anniversary of Michelle and I officially meeting, and sharing our very first cotton candy. So we had to re-live the moment. I love her. She pretty much rocks!

James and I then drove home, and stopped to see his beautiful sister Kera, her husband, and adorable baby Ethan. They are a wonderful family, and it was so good to see them, because it's been about a year now. Her little boy Ethan has the greatest facial expressions! His eyes are huge and so full of curiosity. He has to touch everything, but he's so cute. It was so good to see them.

Then James and I went to eat at Cracker Barrel. It was my first time being there, and the food was absolutely delicious! Our experience was definitely an interesting one. Ask me about it if you'd like to hear it, because I don't feel I should post it on my blog :)

We then went to Alex and Denisha's house to play games with them, as well as Kera and her husband Billy. We played a game called "Loaded Questions". It was so much fun, and nothing short of hilarious. I love them, and I now love that game.

So my weekend was super busy, but pretty much amazing. I had a wonderful time, and got to see some of my favorite people. I hope the rest of the summer brings me just as much, if not more, fun!
