Bring it on.


I probably have a new work out plan/routine about every other day. A few months ago, it was jogging everyday. Lasted about a week. A few weeks later, it was walking home from work everyday. Lasted about two weeks. Then it was zumba/going to the gym five days a week. Lasted three days (mostly because I took off to Logan in the middle of it...). Well, I have yet another new plan. Two words: Jillian Michaels.

Many of my friends have been doing one of her DVDs called the "30 day shred". To quote my friend Jessica, "It could change your life, if you let it". So, I have decided to give it a try. This DVD consists of three work out levels. Start at Level One, and finish at Level Three (thank you, captain obvious!). It's supposed to have really good results, give or take losing 20 lbs in 30 days. And I've seen these results in action!

I have also decided to blog about it. I believe this will also help out with my motivation. I won't necessarily blog each and every day. Some posts will consist of a few days' worth of work outs, that way I won't annoy every one with how much I blog :)

I started the DVD today, and it has showed me JUST how out-of-shape I really am. I don't usually focus on my arms, or really any strength training when I work out. I'm all about the cardio, but this first day kicked my butt because it incorporates both. And so far, I actually do love it. I love how I feel after exercising. It's like, I want to be all pissed off and resolve to never work out again, but I don't feel that way! I feel genuinely good, and I get excited for the next day when I can work out again.

Anyway... I'm really excited about this DVD and I can't wait until I start seeing results!
