Insert creative title here.

I'm not feeling very creative today, but I do feel like blogging. Those two should probably go together, but I don't really like to go with the flow of things anyway. :)

First of all, I can NOT believe that it is August today! Summer is almost over! Even though I work pretty much all of the time, and haven't really had a real summer, I am going to be so sad when it starts snowing again, because I despise the snow. However, a friend of mine suggested that I take up a snow-sport, and maybe that will help me like it. I can't really imagine myself snowboarding though. I don't think I'm that coordinated, and James is opposed to me skiing. haha So maybe I'll just go sledding everyday, build snowmen, build igloos, and throw snowballs (mostly at James... haha). Hopefully that will help me like winter time better. For now, I'll just enjoy the sun as much as I possibly can!
So this weekend was really really fun! On Friday, I got to go with James, Alex, Denisha, Dawn, and her friend to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir along with the Utah Symphony. Dawn got these VIP tickets from her work, for free might I add. These tickets included a free banquet dinner beforehand, actual seats during the show (it was an outdoor concert, and most people had to sit on the grass), and dessert during intermission. The show was spectacular! I have never seen the Motab choir quite that lively. I'm used to watching them during General Conference where it's pretty solemn most of the time, but during this show, they sang a variety of fun songs and even added their own personality to it. I loved it! SO much fun. Also, we were sitting about 2 rows directly behind President Uchtdorf and President Eyering. AMAZING. I was like a star-struck 12 year old girl. And, to top it off, James actually went over and TALKED to them. To their faces! I was quite impressed. I couldn't work up the courage to do that myself. What would I even say? "Oh, hi... Uhhh... I think you're cool. Kay, bye!" hahaha. Oh boy. Probably a good thing I didn't...

Yesterday, James' niece Corrin got married. She looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Her hair and dress were perfect, and her and her husband are quite the adorable couple. James and I got to spend some time walking around the temple before, except it was REALLY hot so then we went into the nice air-conditioned waiting room for a bit until it was time for the couple to come out.
After taking some pictures, we all headed to the luncheon. There was great food, and it was really nice to get to know even more of James' family. They are all so fun and just plain amazing. And I could tell James was so happy just to be around all of them!

After the luncheon, we had a couple of hours to kill, so James decided to try to change the oil in the Expedition. To be honest, I was pretty nervous at first. But he did it! Successfully! And he cleaned it all out, just for me :) He loves me. haha.

We then headed over to the reception. James and I helped serve ice cream and root beer floats. I got to know some of Corrin's friends/family, and they are all so great. I had such a great time! I'm so glad I got to be a part of that yesterday. Congrats to the newly weds!

My work out is still coming along! I'm on day 6 today, and I'm still feeling really good. I think tomorrow I will start level 2 of the work out. Stay tuned. I'll let you know how it is :) Kay, bye!
