Today is day 7 of the 30 day shred. I decided that today I would start on level 2. Reason? Well, let me go into detail...
Days 1-3 of the work out were killer for me. I wasn't used to working some of the muscles that Jillian Michaels has you work out, and let's face it, I was way out of shape. However, day 4 came along and out of nowhere, it was SUPER easy. (Keep in mind, I'm doing the same work out everyday.) So I decided on day 5 to do level 1 twice a day because I wanted to get just as good of a work out, and I didn't think I was quite ready to move on to level 2 yet (most people wait until day 8-10). Doing level 1 twice a day really just wasn't cutting it either. That's why I decided to start on level 2 today.
I wasn't quite aware of how hard it would be! I felt like level 2 worked out the arm muscles extra hard, which I really never focus on. I guess one thing I'm learning is that they are important muscles to work out; just as important as the abs or legs. During level 2, all I wanted to do was quit. I was soooo tired and already sore, and the work out wasn't even over yet. A friend of mine who has completed the entire 30 days told me that level 2 is the worst one (she said that level 3 is the most fun... we'll see). However, by the end of level 2, I felt amazing. I felt empowered, and I received this huge desire to keep working out. So, I did level 1 right after. I modified some of the work outs. Instead of some of the work outs in level 1 that really work out your arms, I replaced them with some ab work outs instead (since my arms were already feeling like jello).
And now, I am feeling great! The endorphins are racing through my body, and I think this means I am officially addicted to working out. Let's just hope that I feel the same tomorrow ;)
good job baby girl! :) let me know how the results of this video work out
